SO...you set up your Facebook business page....NOW WHAT?

#1 - Timing is EVERYTHING!
WHEN you are posting is just as important as WHAT you are posting.  Here at Kares Kommunications, we have metrics that analyze posting data advising us when the largest audience is most favorable for a brand post.  This is important, because if you post at a time when you have a low audience, it is as if you did not post anything at all.

#2 - Clean House...OFTEN!
Make sure that you are constantly auditing your page.  Pay attention to posts on your wall, and photos in the photo album.  Remove and comments or posts that include  a link for your fans to click on, these can contain virus code or take your fans to a pornographic website.  Which brings me to photos, remember, your brand can be tagged in ANY photo, and as a result, those photos will appear on your page.  Here at Kares Kommunications we have systems in place that alert us when our client's pages are tagged and posted.  By immediately reviewing  these events, we are better able to protect our clients. 

#3 - Be SOCIAL!
Whatever you do....DO NOT post and walk away!  The entire point of social media is to engage with your customer!  Keep in mind, most comments will appear within 30 minutes of the original post.  If you have a client who "likes" or shares your post, be sure to publicly THANK them, maybe offer them a discount or goodie for spreading the word!
